Agree 100%, but that is the world we live in. Nobody has time for anything/anybody, but themselves. Example: today I watched a FedEx truck pass another truck for roughly 10 miles or so. No joke. With holiday traffic...
It was backed up for as far as I could see behind me. That crap does make me mad. The 63 mph truck trying to pass the 62 mph truck. Then the first overpass they come to, it starts all over again.

 

I agree, but can't do it. I have the CTIS system on my trailer. So, nut covers only. Thinking about putting that centrifugal tire inflation system on the truck. Not sure yet.

This whole setup was around 230 after tax I believe. The other styles may be cheaper



After seeing you have the inflator system has me wondering. Have you got a pic of it? Those centers come off the hub covers. One might could modify them to allow for the lines to poke out still

 

Well, I need to vent a little. So I pulled into Walcott at 1600. Guy said it would be 2 hour wait. Alright. Well I went in several times and I kept getting put off. Finally got in at 2300! Told the guy to check my alignment that iys pulling to the right. I have a bounce in the rear someplace and an axle seal is leaking. First thing he says is he isn't certified to do axle seals. Wtf do you mean certified.....it's like a 10 min job! Nope, he can't do it and the 1 other guy working can't either. Well, ####! OK, moving on. So I take a walk and leave him to it. I get a call maybe 20 min later....maybe. so I walk back over there. Says alignment is spot on except for the axle needs to be bent and they can't do that. Well, #### me twice then. Then he showed me play in two u joints. Ok, well, go ahead and do those then. Nope, he can't do them either...you gotta be ####ting me! Then I had him get underneath and check out the bushings. Well, they are shot and so are the dog bones.....and guess what. Can't do those either! Well wtf am I paying you for Then? So I just paid $88 and wasted half a day for him to tell me all the crap he can't do and the guy who can, won't be back until Tuesday. FML! So, I'm not buying a seat or nut covers now. Since I have to put bushings and u joints in when I get home. Who knows when the alignment will ever get done. Everyone is booked out for months! This sucks! I'm so friggin pissed right now!

Edit: I was so upset I went inside to the DQ to get a blizzard and I got to be the ahole who ordered 10min before closing. I really don't like being that guy. But I needed ice cream....lol

 

Wife and I have been installing camera systems on buses for another local school board. 17 buses, 5 cameras each. 3 for the kidddos, 2 for stop arm violators. Insurance companies are requiring cameras lately. Has been record breaking hot around here all week. We are glad to be done. Had to drive them from the yard to my place 2 at a time. I had a stowaway today. Revealed himself 10 min from home. My buddy.

 

Not certified? WTF does that mean? Gotta be certified for every little job now? Weird.

I guess. I was so livid by the time it was all said and done I was literally shaking. I'm going to go take that pic and do a few laps around the parking lot to calm down. No way I can sleep now!
