Don't feel bad. Since I can't make a new shop pencil these days....I have to pay to have it all done. I'm getting to the age where there is only so much I'm willing to do outside in the dirt. So whenever I get home I'm taking my truck into rush to have new u joints, dog bones, bushings all around put in and an axle seal done. Guy is thinking around $2400 or so. Which really mean about $3k when it's all said and done. I would rather use that money to buy more tools and just do it myself! Ugh

 

Are you gonna have them install a moose pusher while it's in the shop?

I was trying to work something into the figures, but no dice. It's gonna take some time rebuild our reserves again, then we'll see. We're trying to build enough to upgrade into a bigger truck. Seems like every time we get a little momentum something cuts us off.

 

Believe me, I know what you mean. I try to keep my incomes separate from eachother. So if my truck can't support itself....I need to take a look at what I'm doing wrong....lol. I've had a rash of larger maintenance items lately....sucks. When you say larger truck do you mean in the large car sense or the Shelby sales sense of the word? What are you thinking about getting into?
