2nd delivery with the small truck today.....

 

@Wasted Thyme my neighbour was given a year to live, 6 years ago and he's still kicking. He's getting up there in age but he's still going.

Don't count yourself out just yet.

 

I'm going to fight it like this can be cured. Don't you guys worry.

First time bed bugs was at Freightliner in Pomona, CA.
I slept in the "nap room" or whatever they call it for 3 nights... cause I didn't want to go to a hotel... and there was an infestation of bed bugs in that room...
I got hundreds, yes hundreds of bites everywhere in my body.. pictures later...
Another driver complained too and Freightliner had to close the whole driver area and have the place treated with heat to exterminate them...
This was one month after I started with my previous company... Had to wash all my clothes, and everything in the truck, including my sleeping bags and sprayed the cab with bed bug killer... my company offered to pay for a doctor if I needed one and to call the exterminator for the truck but I didn't need it.
It took many months for the bite marks to go away... some almost a year... they were pretty pretty bad and itched for a long time.

 

I rented another room at the other hotel... the one that didn't have rooms available yesterday.







And will be moving out of the first hotel this afternoon... even though I paid till Sunday

 

Hopefully will sleep well tonight...

 

Will look into trucking.. but time will tell...
I am not used to staying at hotels in the USA. When I was trucking I would always stay in the truck as much as it were possible during breakdown even if the company offered to pay for hotel... mainly because I don't eat out... I cook in the truck... I mean really cook on a burner and electric pot, no microwave food.
And it's very impractical to carry all the food and pots and this and that to and from hotel...
The only hotels where I normally stay in the USA are two, one across from my storage... they have a sort of kitchen, with stove and big refrigerator..
And another one similar next to where I had rented parking for big truck and my vehicle.... but now they got these bugs...

 

There I go again, moving stuff from this hotel to the other one...
Story of my life.... constantly carrying and moving stuff...
That's why my back is all f'up...

 

Hey, you play the hand your delt.
Besides....$20 bucks is 20 bucks....lol
BTW: I polished off the rest of those oreos for beeakfast...lol....they didn't last long.
