Good for a spare in a pinch, that's about it. For what you "save" in cost, is more than lost when, not if, they fail. First thing I do is get 'em gone on a new-to-me truck or trailer. I could share some bad stories regarding retreads, but, dinner's over for me, and I gotta get back at it, work that is....DeereRunner97, Brettj3876, jamespmack and 10 others Thank this.

Penske makes the rules on the truck. But not the trailer at least lol.... but they also pay the road service $ ...
They DON'T however pony up anything for my down time or delays..........DeereRunner97, Brettj3876, Gatordude and 5 others Thank this. -
Maybe it's a little more pertinent to me. From birth to age 7 or 8 the story my family had was that I would be dead by age 9. I can guarantee you that there has been a significant impact in my life and many others by exceeding that point by a bunch of decades. It's one thing to think about death, another thing to face it, and altogether different to live with it for years, befriend it and make peace with it. Once you've been there life looks a lot different from what I guess regular people see.Brettj3876, cke, John E. and 1 other person Thank this.

I can relate. I had spinal meningitis as a child. Spent over a year in a hospital bed under a tent with no outside interaction. It is in one of the Chicago newspapers. They didn't think I was going to live through it for obvious reasons. So, yeah, I get it. Which is the reason I'm the way I am. I live everyday like it's my last.....because it might be. My lifestyle doesn't lend itself to longevity. I try to take my 10year old base jumping with me, but hw always chickens out. Beats the heck out of dying old on a couch with nothing to show for it. Because again, in the end....still dead.DeereRunner97, Brettj3876, jamespmack and 7 others Thank this.

But life is not a guarantee. Beating all odds. A car accident could kill you.
It's not the quantity of the life. But the quality. It's the -DeereRunner97, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 9 others Thank this. -

The locals have a real hate for that place.
Seems they made quite a tax incentive haul on that site. Hauled lots of water pipe and some other construction supplies to it.DeereRunner97, singlescrewshaker, jamespmack and 4 others Thank this. -
