After years of neglect... it became very rusted and I had to get it restored....

    Before restoration...

It took several months... but they did a superb great job!! Two older brothers in their 70's in their family shop... :D

    Good for you!
I don't like being around drinking and drunk people... some become silly, others violent... I don't like neither one... and I hate the smell of alcohol in people's breath...
I drank some when I was a teenager and in my 20's and 30's but wasn't ever a fan of alcohol.... :biggrin_25512: and it was easy to not drink again at age of 35... I don't miss it at all... I can do and enjoy all I want without alcohol... actually I like to enjoy things while being sober... much more intense and realistic experience...

If that’s the same one you drove out to the Royal Farms on 213 in Chestertown the day I met you somebody did a good job on it.

Plain Jane 2wd 2dr with a 4.3l. Not many of those were built. I've owned 3 or S10/15 pickups, 1 4x4 Jimmy. But for years we built race trucks out of them. Regular cab S10 short beds full cage, 406 small block chevs on alcohol. Raced 1/3 mile dirt tracks. 120 mph plus. Wild younger years. Between the rust and racing those trucks are hard to find around here. I would drive one everyday if I could find a nice one. Best mini truck ever.

I was not the driver, just wrench.

    Sweet little truck @Rocks
Literally got this unit on the road today. It will be our 2nd vehicle, and our daughter who has a learners permit will learn on it. Its a unicorn. Full load, 4wd, 5spd manual. 2005, last year they made them. Just finished rebuilding the transmission ( new input gear, countershaft and bearings.)
Both my kids will have learned on a manual.
