OK so an A is a single over drive and a B is a double overdrive from what I read there. At least in the sense of 13 and 18 speed.

Tried calling one in KC no answer so I left a message. Had a used 18918 and didn't mention core or price. Looked to still be in truck.

The trans I have found is a junk yard. Most wrecker yards wanted a like core. So they could sell the core to eaton and double their money.

 

Dang, that sucks all around. Keep trying vanderhaags.....never know. Are you working now?
On a side note. I talked to the dealer today and actually got some good news. They said my bushings were worn and weathered, but still have life. So maybe next year. They seem honest, which is a change for the better. Prolly use them in the future. They said one of my tires is out of round. So, gotta put another tire on. I'm ok with that.

If I remember right in the RTLO series to have both overdrives .86 & .73 you'll want a 13A or an 18B.?

Yeah I'm cruising around in the daycab. If I don't find another before this guy has this one out then I'll go with it.

 

Look at the brightside, atleast you have the option to get into another truck and stay busy. Alot of guys don't. Speaking of which. Wonder how @PoleCrusher is doing on the Hood issue.

 

Supposed to be done this week. Of course, it was supposed to be done last week too, and the week before that.
