A few weeks ago, I wrote about some pretty little girl that was sitting with this KennyG wannabe and his effeminate fat boy wingman. I said something to her about her not being responsible for this dude’s problems and she shouldn’t volunteer to pay for them. Well, a few days later, she was shooting billiards with some other dude, she got stupid drunk and thin skinned, acted a complete fool.

She came to the pub yesterday afternoon looking for me. I am sitting at a table having some beers with 3 bikers, one my age, MadMax 48, Max’s mid 40s Redhead lady, and LittleBrother. LittleBrother is 28, trucker, been in the gym for a couple months, so the shoulders are widening and the arms and hands are beginning to get their menace. I call him LittleBrother like off the 13th Warrior.

Anyway, beautiful young doll of a girl runs up to me to give me a big ol hug, tells me that she’s been looking for me and apologized for her behavior. I told her that I really wanted to chat with her sober. Pulled up a seat and had her sit next to me, and we discussed her destructive behavior. You could honestly tell that we were the very first Adults to ever sit her down and talk to her. I am glad that Red was there. It was like a little girl meeting an adult female for the first time.

There was a young guy sitting alone a couple tables away. He was watching. He comes over and asks if he could sit with us because he too needed help. Suddenly, it was 3am.

 

You are going to have to start putting a donation box on your table, like that gal from the peanuts. Except you should charge more than 5 cents.

 

If the old don't impart wisdom to the young. What is the point of getting old?

 

They start buying drinks. All freaking night….

Good times, hand. Good times.

 

They have questions. You have answers.

Wisdom is the ability to use intelligence to your benefit. Stupidity is the inability to use intelligence. So, the more intelligent the person, the wiser or stupid the potential.

 

I agree, I just like to poke fun.

Everyone had that fork in the road moment that changed the course of their life. I am an inner city kid. Went to an inner city school. Dumbed myself down to fit in. Foul temper, quick to throw hands. Had to be that way.

Dad walked suddenly and mom was 31 with 4 kids and pregnant. Mom applied for welfare and food stamps and they told mom that they would give her $25/month. Mom asked why so little and they told her that it was because of her part time job. They told mom she could get lots and lots more money IF she would quit her part time job. No brainer, right?

”Why would I quit my job? I have no intention of living like this all my life”

I heard my mom say this, and I saw the people smirk, “She will be back. She’s not THAT stupid.”

You will hear me talk about the path of least resistance a lot. Mom rejected it. All of her children rejected it. Mom wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. She wasn’t superwoman. To the welfare peoples, she was a straight up fool. But none of her kids were drug addicts, no thieves, baby mamas, no wifebeaters, no bums. None of her kids or grandkids. All because she rejected the path of least resistance.

 

@AModelCat was that homemade red wine? My friends mom makes all sorts of homemade wines. Some of it will but you on your ### with just 2 glasses.
