Welcome to farm country. Thats what most of us would respond to all the complaints. Always found it odd, no one ever moves to, they move from. Then they want to bring it all with them.

I castrate the males not long after birth, don't mess with the eye teeth though, they don't live long enough to worry about it. Canning makes any tough meat tender, it keeps much longer, and helps keep the electric bill down.

You skin 'em or scald 'em? I just skin 'em, less fuss.

You do your own birds? I built a plucker, makes that part simple.

Amish butcher I know took a reefer unit and bolted it to his building, uses that for regulated cooling....

Grandma and Grandpa had an acreage zoned agricultural. There was a strip of about 7 or 8 properties in a row that were all zoned like that. City built up all around them. Some of their neighbours were real cidiots. He was a real gentleman and always tried to be diplomatic. The other neighbours didn't have his patience. Had one old bat across the street that always pissed and moaned about literally everything.

Yup, not as bad as a buck goat though, but yeah. Castrating them's not for the squeamish, or the squealish, LOL...

Got an enticing offer from JB hunt Lol. Pulling their wagon on a wally world account 300-350 miles a day. Comes out to like 3.50 on all miles and them paying tolls but we talked it over and really don't wanna be dedicated to 1 thing. Especially going out Long Island they run a lot of that area out of the Toby DC

There's probably a catch tho. Carrot and the stick or they wouldn't be calling
