Well, things took a turn today. I noticed that wobble again in the rear. Delivered in little Rock and called around to get work done. Mhc kenworth said they could get me in tonight. So, long story short....I'm sitting in a crap, overpriced hotel room waiting for tomorrow. There is a groove worn into my spindle on my right drive. So the Bearings are just kinda wobbling around. They are going to call the axle doctor guy at 0800 to see what can be done. Suck! They don't know if this guy is even available to work on my truck. FML!

Never mind I see 6cyl. Some small pistons. Must sound like an angry weed whacker

I looked it up. 65hp and 20,000 rpm red line. Almost 20 more hp than what my 450 is putting out.

How bad? Mine all had .011-.014" wear on the bottom of the outer spindles 200k ago. Cheaper for me to replace the housings than have new spindles put on, but so far no issues from them.

I recall reading a book about it when I was a kid. That was a interesting piece of machinery.

Take route 2 up WV to Route 35 at Point Pleasant..... cross over to Ohio on 35 west. Soon as you cross the bridge jump off on to Route 7 north and roll on up to Marietta. Route 7 between Huntington and Galipolis was closed a few weeks ago.

We call it the new road, but route 193 from exit 18 over to route 2 and turn right. It’s roughly 30 miles up route 2 to Point Pleasant / Galipolis.

You can do just about anything, if you set your mind to it and want too bad enough. I did a 4 year stint as a CO babysitting cell blocks, but I knew I wasn't going to make a career out of it, good luck young fella...

Oh...... if you get all this before you roll, Once you get on 7 at Galipolis and head north there is a small rear area just out of town on the right. If you have time stop there..... in front of the building there is one of the original links from the Silver Bridge that fell years ago there.... just something to see if ya have time
