Caught him napping out on route 73 just outside Portsmouth Ohio a few miles. Stopped to check on him and he was snoring up a storm with the windows down and engine off. ( Cabover Freightliner ).... I tied a rope to the drivers side grab handle, went around the front and behind the passenger door to the grab handle on that side. But left them high enough he could untie it......

Edit: that was over 30 years ago.

Well, I'm sitting in line to load in Franklin, VA now. Going to Vienna Ohio. This is turning into an all day event. Ugh.

No, you missed nothing. I'm still pissed.
I was there for 2 days and $4300.00 later.
My truck still bounces like crazy. How they missed that in the test drive is beyond me. They replaced the stub on right side and new Bearings, races, seals and hardware. Why the left side was apart is beyond me and told him I wasn't paying for it. Then they put that side back together with the old parts. I asked why they didn't put new in and the guy said he didn't think about it. When I get home, I'm going to look at it some more and then take it to another local shop and then charge it back to mhc. I'm not happy, but I was under a load and can't just hang out.

 

You guys know any good CB shops? Stryker quit working and need to send it out. For the time being i got a new in the box 29 for $60 can't beat that

 

If I recall this has been a constant problem. I would start with checking rim to hub clearance. The centering flange. Take a business card and see if it fits between a few, and tight on others.


Or I would check radial runout of those tires. But that's me. I do weird things.
