You struck me as one who is immune to punishment.

There’s some types of Harleys that could hardly be called light or nimble but they sit low so they’re very stable, like my Heritage. I’ve even seen women riding Fat Boys.

So I'm guilty of hating on dealers. First to admit. Ordered new head light buckets from Raney. No way I'm paying dealer price. They show up with one chrome bezel broken. Ok, happens. They have it back ordered 6 months, but sends a complete assemble free of charge. I tried to reason with the lady not to. Anyhow, they fit, but buckets are painted, not galvanized, screws are tiny, SS trim rings flimsy. Wiring cheap. But to top it off, wrong weather pack plugs. Got mad called FL, took 3 days delivered to my door. Exact oem assembly, bulbs, buckets, harness, chrome trim. Only 35.00 apiece more than aftermarket.

I write this admission to the fact I assumed I was saving money. That 70.00 would have been better spent on the first time ordering them. And I have 3 to send back. I stepped on my own D on this one.

Yes they are expandable rivets for glass. Not pops, and better than the rusty sheet metal screw that were in it.

    True
I was suggesting the smaller lighter less powerful bike to give him experience and refine his skills.
Dirt biking and cruising have many different skill sets and some similar, but stupid 4+ drivers with a visability for bikes handicap are seldom a problem in the back country
