I don’t really know what raw gas smells like, but when I idle I have smoke that comes out the tailpipe; it’s not so thick it looks like a smoke grenade or something, thought it was a blown head gasket but that wasn’t it, settled on it was oil seeping through the seals but idk; it does smell rather foul.
You’re pretty smart I was thinking the same thing when I looked up “high short term fuel trim” and it said it was a “classic indicator” of a vacuum leak

You may not know it, but the shoulders and back are the most important groups of the upper body. If you are going to have a debilitating injury in the upper body, it’s going to be either shoulders or back. The stronger you get, the more resistance to injury you will be and the faster you will recover from an injury.
If you hit bi’s and tri’s on their own day, that would present a serious difficulty on when they would have time to recover. Biceps get worked hard when you do back exercises. Triceps get worked when you do any kind of upper body press, BUT the tri’s are much bigger and stronger than the bi’s. Tri’s are going to see action twice a week, on shoulder day and chest day. If I dedicate an entire day to arms, there’s no possible way that the triceps will be able to rest and recover.
Make sense?MACK E-6, PoleCrusher, jamespmack and 3 others Thank this. -
What color smoke? Raw gasoline smells like gasoline fresh out of the gas pump. Take your gas cap off and take a whiff.jamespmack, PoleCrusher, Eldiablo and 3 others Thank this.

Hmm I didn’t think of it like that but it does make sense; I’m a total newb so I’ll probably buy a subscription of this dude I found on YouTube that has training videos lolPoleCrusher, jamespmack and Brettj3876 Thank this.

It’s either white or white/blue but to be honest I couldn’t tell you for certain; I know blue smoke is supposed to indicate burning oil and white is burning coolant; I’ll investigate more tomorrow it’s dark as hell hereFlint1, PoleCrusher, Eldiablo and 2 others Thank this.

Yep That’s right James opacity is what they call smoke. They put a gizmo at the top of the stack and measure it. Rules say they’re supposed to stab the pedal and run it up against the governor. Fuel pump and Governor setting ha have a lot to to with the result.,..and how fast they stab it.jamespmack, Flint1, PoleCrusher and 5 others Thank this.

Didn't you run into governor issues on a snap test a while back?jamespmack, PoleCrusher, Eldiablo and 3 others Thank this.

Yes that’s a helluva memory you have there. NY state Emmission tester pulled me over after I paid the toll getting off I-90. He measured 60% opacity and gave me $600 ticket. it went so dark I thought there was an eclipse. I plead not guilty on account of he didn’t follow test procedure and the ADA dismissed the charge. He was supposed to find the Governor speed on my engine before the test and he didn’t do that.MACK E-6, TripleSix, jamespmack and 12 others Thank this.
