Well....that's some scary stuff. The govt that hard up...they're just handing them out now? Gees.....some peoples kids.

Lol....all jokes aside...congrats brother. I wish you well in your new adventures @farmerjohn64
i had a buddy who was in corrections until he was fired.. he got tired of a guy throwing feces at him day in and day out for months....so he lost it one day and just beat the guy bloody.. broke alot of his bones and put him in a wheelchair permanently. I suggest you not go that route.

Yeah the haul road down from the quarry. shoulder gave out after raining all weekend. Im good , not hurt other then my pride. Cant believe i dumped a truck a over. Its finally sinking in now , i was in shock for a day or two. But got my first load back at it today. Running a rental truck and trailer from my company. Still waiting for an estimate on my truck, im thinking trailer is gonna be totaled.... Best part was i had just made my last payment on the truck that morning. Then flop it over.

I rode my bike alot. Got some more quotes on buildings. Jury is still out on that one. Did alot of fixing on the truck. Replaced,3 u-joints, carrier bearing, torque rods, axle seal, leaking a/c box, lights, bumper, new steer tire. Snapped my u joint tool in half with a 3/4 impact gun. Which made the other u joints more interesting. I ordered a new steering box, Pitman arm, drag link and steering shaft for next weekend. My wife managed to line up some local direct freight. So I'm going to be trying the home on weekends thing out. With the shortages now and I'm sure they are going to get worse, I'm replacing every little thing I can now....while I can. I took some advice from James and started putting some parts on the shelf. I paid $161 for a single ujoint! FML! Then went back 4 days later for another....$200! Went up $40 in 4 days....same ujoint, same vendor! Gees.
Now that my back end is fixed....made me realize how loose the front end is...lol. so that is next week's venture.

    Gees, that sucks!
Good news is, you can prolly sell it for more than you paid for it...lol
You see on the news, truck mfg are going to start laying off. They can't get parts to build trucks. Gees.
I'm making a very conscious effort to get mine squared away and put some parts up. Need to buy a case of filters. Napa is having a hard time now getting them.
Were you loaded when you went over?

Edit: when it rolled, did it happen really slow. So you had time to think about how the next moments were about to really suck and there isn't a thing you could do about it. Because those moments are the worst. I've had a few of those in my life. Kinda like the final moments before marriage and all you think about is your buddy telling you not to...lol.

TA in Bordentown had one last time I was there. Aunt Jennie’s Diner in the Gap, PA has a shrine of sorts. Jennie’s Diner in Ronks, PA has framed pictures of about 30 local servicemen and women. I’ve never had the heart to ask if they were fallen.

It happened super quick. Felt my trailer tug on me, yanked the steering wheel to the left and mashed the pedal to try and pull out of it. Didnt even get a chance to look in the mirrors to see what was happening. Before i knew it i was upside down calling for help on the CB. Yeah i was loaded and rocks stayed attached. They had to cut all my chains off . just bought 10 new chains and binder today. Dont really feel lile driving, but someones gotta pay the bill

No offense to anyone, but it pencils out like farmer math. Or Big Rig trucker math.

It will be a old truck by the time you pay for it.
