Ouch. A few weeks ago I had a load picking up on a Saturday in Allentown after kicking the load off in jersey. Pretty big warehouse with shipping on one side and receiving on the other. No cars on the shipping side so i wandered over to receiving and ended up being loaded over there. Only about half a dozen cars in the lot, I thought i was screwed. They didn't know I was coming but ended up getting loaded

 

Everyone on a holiday weekend except you, been there too many times.

 

What was the reason for the boycott?

 

Remember St. Patrick's day is a Catholic holiday. The organizers, a veterans group, wouldn't allow a gay pride march in the parade, so sam adams pulled its sponsorship.

I support their decision. What I don’t understand is why these gay pride people are always trying to force their way of life on everyone else. Why can’t they live their lives as they choose without all of the theatrics?

 

Yep, and come to find out shipper knew. Failed to tell the trucks!

Its ok, I dropped a ltl, went to second drop. Closed, got reconsignment to drop the rest at first stop on the way home. So added a stop, milage, fsc. Plus I'm empty for Tuesday am.

Now someone will have to fix this, 32k pounds of steel is at the wrong facility. And the stamping die is at the other facility.

That is a "Thier Problem" not a me problem.

It wasn't done for free, just wish it wasn't Friday night. Oh well. Weird week anyhow.

 

Because it's not about them wanting to live their life as they choose. It's about forcing others into thinking that a deviant lifestyle should not only be accepted, but applauded as well.

I completely misunderstood your first post and the article. My mind was obviously on other things. My reading comprehension is not there tonight. Guess I’ll go find the bottom of that bottle of fireball.
