Hope your all doing well, I've been on vacation and spending some time away from trucking, it's been great for my mental health...
view from the cabin my wife and I rented in the UP of Michigan, private lake, it was wonderful.
we came the long way home to Pennsylvania through Wisconsin so I could visit the Harley Davidson museum...then we took a tour through Chicago and went to the dunes in Indiana.

You add or subtract shims where the stinger pins to the main trailer, that causes the stinger to take more or less weight. Shimming is an art as much as science, the load concentration and gooseneck height also affect the stinger weight so you have to shim accordingly.
It just has to be far enough back to make it its own “group”. His is probably 14’
