I can only imagine how that happened. But after seeing those yahoos spotting trailers at the intermodal in Mobile Alabama..... it's pretty obvious.
Most of the guys think they are super truckers anyway.

 

Its sad to see people throw their lives away like that. It upsets me even more when their drug habit causes medical professionals to waste time helping them when there are folks that legitimately need help.

A few months back I was in the ER with someone I really care about. Some dumb teenager was brought in overdosed. Because she was deemed "priority" she got all the attention. Everyone in the ER got neglected for an hour because of this stupid twit.

 

"Prevent opioid overdose: your house won't rob itself!"

"Prevent opiod overdose: your car won't steal itself!"

"Prevent opiod overdose: and let them stab you while they steal your wallet!"

"Prevent opiod overdose: you don't spend enough on taxes to NOT pay for their repeated stints to rehab!"





"It's a disease!" Yea you know what, cancer is a disease, I never saw anybody suck a dick to get it.

 

Last part made me LOL. Never heard it put that way, but its the truth, haha.

I just saw an interesting piece on 60 Minutes about opiods....basically the head of the DEA Diversion Dept predicted this epidemic a few years ago and was fired because the drug manufacturers were lying and lining the pockets of the FDA with their profits off these highly addictive drugs. I've said for years the FDA is the main reason our health industry is so f'd up....lying, thieving b******s!!!

Corporate America is the reason why everything in the US is so ####ed up.

Everything from food to fuel to politics is run by big business. And it's a real shame too, because it's not the nation the founding fathers had in mind when they wrote the Constitution.

Even myself as a Canadian am jealous of that document as a foundation of government. We don't have a true separation of church and state up here, we're just too polite to have politicians try and enforce laws that favour one group over the other. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms helped, but it still doesn't guarantee anything.

Edit: Oh wait, I forgot, we have had groups get special exemptions for things like religious headwear. Just nothing ground-shaking.

 

Unfortunately if you were born here you can piss off seems to be the attitude in this country these days. Yes my family immigrated from Europe 90ish years ago but they never went out and tried to change Canada. They integrated into the Canadian way of life and worked hard to be productive. Nowadays every single special interest group wants special privilleges.

 

I saw that one as well.
