The best I saw was Florida for $8k but that would put me out another week.The ones heading to the NE we’re paying alright as well.

The encampments have grown. See them every where now. The part I don’t get, is where are they getting these high dollar tents, backpacks, coats and bicycles.

I worked in an office tower in San Francisco for most of the 80’s and into the early 90’s - they had giant homeless encampments right across from city hall for years - had to use fire hoses to wash the sidewalks and stairwells EVERY morning.
There is nothing so glorious about the olden days - I was there
people tend to remember selectively -

I got promoted to part time starcar drivah. -
During the gold rush a bar was built in SF with a trough for male patrons to pee and not leave their seat.
Believe its still open, but no peeing.
Maybe the homeless are historical not gross.
