Well I found a use for those truck stop pallets that are always in the way.

Unfortunately, I think this tire had seen its day.

That looks exactly like it! Only difference is the seat is square shaped and made out of tin. Probably not much parts around for those anymore?

    Square...?o_O :D. Sounds like a replacement.

They made lots of these tractors and parts are pretty plentiful.
VA VAC VAO VAI VAO VAH VAS VAC13 VAC14 are all different versions of this tractor.

And if you do a reading about "Old Abe"... which is the mascot Eagle standing on the globe of the world, you will find Jerome Increase Case ( J.I. Case ) was pretty inspired to make Abe his mascot. Abe was an actual Eagle that helped during the war.

I know it but dang I just can’t help myself!

Naw it was the only thing I could find to get that inside tire off the ground so I could get the bead back on. Aired up, plugged, and drove 20 miles to the nearest decent (non-mega truck stop) tire shop, where I now sit in line behind 4 tanker trucks.

It took two plugs, but she’s still holding air. Lol.

Got two new tires on the wagon and got my California crap off the deck...

Have a hunch I’m gonna sit empty tonight so I bounced to the nearest truck stop...

Thinking about giving the girl a run through the Beacon in the morning. She’s disgusting after sitting in the desert for two of the previous three weekends. All that dust mixed with bug juice from the 80 and you have one nasty looking truck :(

I’ve rolled a little over 14500 Miles this month though. I’m a mega freight hauler. It’s shameful :p

Without fail just as I sit down at the counter... phone starts going off.

Welp. At least it’s gravy back to @sawmill country... I’ll take that any day.

Wondering if I should drop my tarps off at home.... going on a week now at Must Tarp Load without tarping...

Fawk it. Getting her clean and then Iowa bound for morning pickup... Y’all be safe :)

In Balgonie at the Hook for the night. 5 hour unload, went real fast. Getting the Big Road itch these days. I'm having a hard time doing this day in day out, same ole same ole. It's hard pulling into the truck stop for the night 11 hours after getting up in the morning.

Also getting anxious about doing more than just flat deck and dry bulk. I want to see more and do more, and get paid more. We get second from top rate after 2 years, and top rate after 5 (seems really weird). But I like being loyal to companies that treat me right.

But those are thoughts for another time. I need to concentrate on building up savings to buy a house.
