I scoffed at the idea of living more than 15 minutes from work. Nowadays I'm thinking living 45 minutes out of town wouldn't be terrible.

 

You know how bad it is here.....we are in the middle of a refi on a 15 year. Our house appreciated almost $100k more in 8 months! That's insane. 10 years ago you could have bought any house you seen for around $150k and house in town for about half of that. Now, you can't touch a house in town for under $250k and anything decent with a little land is $400k and up. Sad thing is, it is pricing so many out of the market. The younger folks are all leaving because they can't afford a house. Sucks

Still usable so it'll wait till after harvest. Got an estimate though. Just over 5k in damage, not including 2 new tires

 

In my limited experience out here , ive noticed when lots of loads start canceling. Putting 2 and 2 together it seems like brokers must be shopping around for cheaper trucks. This means rates soon to come down? What a shame that will be. Its been a good year for everybody.
