Those are really cool. I wanna put a 455 in the 68 firebird. No need for a radio when you can listen to a big block all day

Went to the Richard crane memorial truck show. Over 200 trucks this yearSwine hauler, cke, Flint1 and 12 others Thank this. -
Tourists…I can only tolerate them for a short time myself.
I thought you were going to do a 34. That’s why I suggested the checkered flag. No tourist and a much better atmosphere.cke, jamespmack, BigBob410 and 7 others Thank this. -
I'm about a hour and a half from there and have never stopped. I have bought some parts from them.
Several years ago I was sitting on a balcony outside our condo overlooking the water in Edisto SC and they called me..... wanted to send me a turbo 3000 for free. I said sure....I can probably use the fittings..... -
We ran into the guy that ran the bike rental place at the bar in Edisto. Long story short we got bikes....a deck of cards.....and a roll of duct tape.
My buddy shot this video....

It’s an interesting place. However, it is chocked full of freaking tourists and limp wristed sidewalk sissy drivers. I can’t stand either.
Tourist stop there for the “World’s Largest” sign and all the fast food. The sidewalk sissies stop there because it’s a TA. If they built the “World’s Largest Loves With The Biggest Roller Dog Selection” right next to it, they would all go to the Loves. Shower points and fuel island parking!,
When I travel, I am looking for the mom and pop place. If I don’t eat McDonald’s at my home port, I sure as hell am not traveling to your neck of the woods to eat there.cke, Flint1, jamespmack and 10 others Thank this. -
The actually produced 350ss trucks too. White, or black. The had a GT too. Either would be fine. 454/350 sucked stock. If your building a engine. Id by either.
I agree on lowering. Only one that really pulled it of was the Cyclone. That truck was just right, every detail. -
Not alot, didn't wash it, or check the miles. But I got some throttle therapy today.
Still lifts the tire on a hard 1,2 bang.Swine hauler, cke, Flint1 and 10 others Thank this. -
I stopped by, and stop at Kenly often because it fits for a couple of my runs. But it just doesn't have the same appeal as it used to. I've ordered from 4 states, Raney's, and I80 quite a bit, but never buy anything to speak of in person. Kind of like my first trip to Summit Racing. Fresh out of the JC Whitney era, it was like a candy store. Now, eh, I order from them if they have it. I do miss the excitement that came with being young.

Well I screwed it up anyway.
Come down to a certain town in Illinois, Decatur. Head to the motel. Bar next door that’s open till 2am. I’m thinking JACKPOT. It’s closed due to staffing issues. Good grief.
now I’m looking at Texas Roadhouse or Applebee’s. Should’ve stayed at Iowa 80 and dealt with the stupid for a locally owned joint instead of these mega chains. Ugh. I tried y’all.cke, jamespmack, BigBob410 and 7 others Thank this.
