Putting in an offer on the property we looked at today. Really nice place on top of a hill with 4.6 acres and a view to absolutely kill for.

I know I couldn't handle it. Or Oklahoma or Texas, and they're warmer.

I am partial to soak/marinade/brine things. Seem to have good results with the method. Usually overnight. Beer and apple cider are my main base liquids. I do add spices to it. Then add a dry rub/crust to the meats before going into the smoke.

I used to live out in the sticks in Colorado. My cabin was at 9600ft elevation. The "town" wasn't far off that. People would come look at land in the summer and talk about how awesome it was. It would also snow year round there. It wouldn't stick in the summer, but we would still get an inch or two in June, July, August. Also stayed cold at night no matter what time of year. Anywho, we had a bet pool in town at the pub as to whom would move out first. Because it was inevitable to be snowed in for weeks if you weren't prepared for it. So without fail, the moving trucks would be in full effect as soon as the snow melted. I really liked it there. Then alot of Hollywood ####### started buying up property there.....all downhill after that.

W900A. One of 3-4 this company has. Doing it in style if your a company driver there. Not the best pic quality sorry

They take old iron and rebuild them from the ground up. Only have a handful of newer trucks,1-2 Columbia, pretty sure they're gliders and recently saw a K100. First class outfit.
