Don't discount friday . My uncle that worked at ford always used to say mon/Fri. Some of the stories I've heard from him make you cringe. Hope you get lined out

 

Change the vent on the diff housing. A plugged vent is a quick way to build pressure and force oil past the seals.

 

@jamespmack I wish your brother a speedy recovery. Those air casts are a god send. I got one of those when i busted my foot. I always used to let a little pressure off at night, it would help me sleep better.

Ive heard people say this but never thought nothing of it til it happened to me. Whenever a new weather system comes in i can feel it in the foot i broke as strange as it sounds. Not really painful but a weird pressure

 

to be honest - there are probably 2 more trailers full of parts that go with it and a team of dudes to put it together and take it apart.

so probably more of a pain than I originally considered

Yeah, just sucks. I had less than 1k on it and it was flinging oil everywhere. Took the pinion seal cap off and they didn't even press the seal in. Literally came out in my hand. Now it is leaking between the pumpkin and power divider housing. Suck. Prolly has 20k on it now.

 

I already checked it and it's good. It's the old style mushroom type....not as much a vent as a open hole with a cover....lol

 

It's not his first scooter crash.

 

I'm hearing "Covid Cars" tossed around on alot of 2021 vehicles right now.
