Gojo scrub wipe things. Come in a tub. Greatest thing since sliced bread. Hands down. I keep a bucket in my truck for cleaning up after any roadside wrenching activities.

Has a scrubbin side and a not so scrubbin side

Well yeah but you know what I meant. An mp8 is just a maroon painted d13

Done alot of dump truckin with em and alot of chicken feedin. Never had much issue. Dad's 579 has flex air and lemme tell ya it don't flex for ####. Spins a wheel and freaks out over the smallest variations in road heights when trying to make a turn.

They put these in starting in 2019 with the anthem redesign and since mack uses the same cab for everything all the trucks got an interior update. 1860x1050-Press-release-Mack-Trucks-Updates-Mack-Pinnacle-VG-NA-2017.jpg

That was the problem i had with the 579. Going down washboarded out dirt road it would spin the tires and drain all my air pressure trying to shift power to the other wheels. by the time id get traction, all my air would be gone and the brakes are now set. What a dumb dumb design.... But its good to know mack atleast makes a good auto. Ive always like macks. That new designed interior doesnt hurt my feelings but man i just like basic dash. Give me what i need. Full gauges and switches. No buttons on the steering wheel. Im leaning towards a star car or a 122sd freightliner if im gonna get me a newer truck. The 122sd seems to have the best looking dash and sleeper design that i like. The 389 sleeper is so outdated and so behind in terms of functionality vs the other brands. The one thing i like about the 579 and auto was it had an ultraloft 80 inch sleeper. It was like a mansion compared to my 386...

I wish we could get a truck built and mix and match sleeper, cab, dash , engine, etc. from different manufactures and build the truck u want. I guess with enough money anything is possible

Don't much like alot of gizmos and doodads but steering wheel controls are nice. Turn up the radio is just a few button presses on the wheel. Set cruise its same thing.

I would be looking hard at a mack if they'd put the mp10 in the states....685hp 2300ftlb

I perused a few 122s the other day. Not bad looking trucks really. If I were going that route I feel like I'd have wanted a glider to drop an n14 into

New 122s with anything pre emissions would be sweet. Now why don't they make these into gliders 122sd-silver-1366x475.jpg

Freightliner and peterbilt had been cranking out the glider units, then Volvo got upset that they were not selling trucks. They also would not sell a glider kit. So the filed complaints and other legal stuff and the EPA got involved and that was the end of the glider.

In the early 2000s Mack was planning on releasing the E9 with modern electronics but volvo put a squash to it. What a shame. The mp10 ended up having problem after problem. Wasn't a good engine. If they released the updated E9 im willing to bet mack would have quite a bit of the heavy haul market

Can't get the mp10 anymore in the north american markets since 2017 I think

Lol I already forgot how long I’ve been here, like time stops for me too  I like it and the money is steady (so is the overtime) so I can’t complain; you get time and a half and I think the other half is an hour of off time that’s added to your total off time that you can take

Think the 99 needs a new harness or ecu. The wiring on the 93 is a lot better quality. Rough idle comes and goes and every now and then around 1400-1550 it will cut out sometimes and the electronic malfunction light will flash but no codes. Injectors are good and we've done all 6 unit pumps since we got it. While it was apart after busting a valve bridge we sent the injectors out to be pop tested and they came back good. Gremlins Lol. It only has 625k on the truck and a reman engine in 2013.

Not sure on the carbines, have to look, receivers are Win & NPM, both good shooters. The IH was all correct, let it go for $950, but that was years ago. Still have a Colt Lightning, 44-40, 1880's something, that's worth a little something. Also, got a new in walnut box Colt Diamondback, 6" bbl, .22 cal, limited edition (500 made), with gold engraving. Used to have a lot more, but sold most of 'em over the years...
