    Been down this road, don't waste your breath. Ask for the DD regional representative.

    I called mine everyday till they gave me a complete engine. Dont mention lawyers or law suit. They will end conversation.

    Replaced an oil pump in a big CAT stationary engine. 4 weeks to get it from CAT (owner wanted only CAT, no offshore). 2 hours in pump failed under load.

    I have been really cautious of cat products. Back in the early 80’s, had a sort of business partner. His primary employment was for cat, he was a rework specialist. Basically took rejected parts and picked out the ones that weren’t so bad and assembled “working unit” from that.
