Alternator on the '89 C70 gave up the ghost, called around, no one has one, what a shocker. Ordered one from Rock Auto, on its way. Meanwhile, trailers loaded to go, what to do? Hit the woodlot, rain or not, gotta get it done. The ole '61 is gettin it done....

I'll be glad when it freezes. Mud is everywhere where I live, All over my ratchets, sticking like glue.
Started raining the first week in Sept.

 

When you get the replacement, send the old one to be repaired. Probably just the regulator/rectifier and brushes.

 

@D.Tibbitt, When you rolled Bluebird, and called on the radio, did you say “ Help, I’ve rolled over and can’t get up!”
