I don't doubt that at all. Anyway, that's about as much as I'll type on the subject here since it's way too easy to go down a path frowned upon outside the darker sections of the forum.

I've got 285 24.5 on here now. Trailer has 11r 22.5. I was going to swap to 11r 2.5on the truck just to have one set of spares. However, my tires still have some life in them. I need to drop like 1500lbs or so. I was thinking about ditching half my chains out, my coil stuff and a few other things dont use. However, I'm scared to do so because I don't want to turn down a load because of it. What I'm really thinking of doing when and if I Paint this thing is, getting vocational fuel tanks. The ones with the built in steps. That will save alot of weight. It will get rid of my big tanks and both steps. Then put my batteries between the Frame rails. I dunno though. I really want a t800. SoI'm not doing anything until spring.....atleast.

1500 pounds would be about 215 gallons.

Switching to disk vs drums would get you some weight savings but it's also another one of those quite large task for a minimal loss

You've got 1000 pounds just having a cat vs a Detroit.
