I'm practicing being old.

Reminds me of helping my great uncle change his water heater. He was mad the whole time. This was around 2000,2001. "Just don't make things to last". Had to ask when he put this relic in. He estimated 1941. I was slightly confused.

 

Man you guys are going to have to come out to my homestead when I get some property. Going to need some help setting up butcher station. LOL

 

I really want a walkin freezer, however, I'm not willing to pay the inflated price for one. Frigging ridiculous.

 

The gal next to me is selling some property.

 

Oh, I'm bad about this and always have been. I was raised by my great grandmother, so that is my perspective. Heck, I remember having to take a bath after her because a shower was a waste of water and I wasn't even allowed to add more hot water....lol. I'm a firm believer in the "don't make it like they used to" idea. We are a throwaway society now.

 

Well we are experimenting with this little guy. Eating solely out of a cold lunch box for years im impressed. Im only heating up left overs. Next will be actually let something cook in it. 165 freedom degrees and 12v, .5 amps.

I'm sitting here looking for an old Blackhawk S4 floor jack (anyone in LA or Iowa headed this way?)
