I need to add a little box on the back side of the little door that looks out of place now.
    Nothing to fill there.

It will pretty much hold it’s own lol. Grossing close to 100,000 I was down in to 3rd and 4th gear still on some of the hard pulls coming out of southern WV up through Gilbert, Logan and such. Had to keep the pyro happy lol….

An drive axle out of alignment or a binding bushing in the front or rear suspension can do that. A dry 5th wheel or a mis-aligned trailer axle can also do that.

I think anyone with good mechanical sense can do it. I’m a hands on learner. I can follow directions but do better just gettin’ at it. I’ve seen the stuff you’ve posted on here over the years and have no doubt you were a good operator!

It's possible. How would you test the flow?

The dealer I worked for had one. Tied into the lines. It had pressure and flow guages. And you could dead head the pump with a knob (max 30 sec or so). If memory serves there was a spec to compare running pressure and flow to diagnose if there was a restriction to see if the steering box was bypassing correctly. I only ever had to use it a few times.

Heck, there are alot of guys who spend that a year in aftertreatment expense on a new unit. Look at @Flint1 post. So yeah, I am worried about a new engine. Mine has over 2 million miles on it now. Do you honestly see the new trucks going that long in an unmodified state? I don't. Don't think many others do either. Prolly why most ditch them before the warranty runs out.

Well, got the truck back tonight. Sitting in line at the mill now. So.....we'll see how she does tomorrow. Bill wasn't bad at all. Honestly, about half of what I thought it was going to be. Most of the guys there know me and are pretty decent. I definitely know the parts guys well......lol. I just wish they could get some more help........decent help. Batteries where pretty cheap I thought. $80pc.
