I want the Canadian spread and heavier axles and lockers. Just don't want the double frame. Looking at dd15 or 16. Alot of guys didn't want to pay the upgrade fee for the 16 so most are dd15. Is what it is I guess. This is what I've gathered from alot of reading anyways.DeereRunner97, Eldiablo, singlescrewshaker and 4 others Thank this.

The piece I'm talking about is land locked. They have a easement from the neighbors property to get into it.
My parents place is kinda unique... They have nine acres in town and 40 outside of the town. It's a small town and with the original layout of the town we own I think nine alleys. Dad had the lawyer get them closed and transferred back into our name several years ago. They tried to get them reopened for access... It was a big mess because the city attorney had never filed the papers. We had all the court filings and the minutes from the city council that it was approved so they got to pound sand.
It was offered to us first when it went up for sale but dad didn't want it....they were living in Arizona half the year at the time.
I should of just bought it but I didn't really want it either. Kinda wish I had.clausland, DeereRunner97, Tug Toy and 8 others Thank this. -
Thought you didn’t want anything to do with any emissions trucks? Thought the idea of getting something different was to go lighter? You realize Western Stars are heavy as #### right? Thought you decided to keep your truck since it’s all practically new now?cke, singlescrewshaker, Isafarmboy and 6 others Thank this.

Honestly, I'm exploring options. I really am not sure which way I want to go now. My buddy has a water hauling gig up north that is pretty decent, so I was exploring that. I was offered some local work, so I was exploring that. Also, thinking of moving again in light of new events. So we have been looking at small farms in Indiana. Here is the crux of my issue. I have enough cash to pay off all personal debt and about half of the business debt. So.....do I take that money and pay it all off? Do I build a shop with it? Do I buy another truck....Fix it how I want and then sell this one. The house to me is my hangup. I live in a small home that is nothing special. If I put up the other shop then....in my eyes....I have alot of money invested in my home that I don't think it's worth. However, it's worth it and more. Or, I could sell and move and have more place for less money and be in a much better freight area with a much better home. Just alot to think about.
Edit: I really don't want an emissions truck. However with pricing the way it is.... all trucks from the 90s to about 2017 are roughly the same price. I have found some low mileage trucks that I like. So, I can get a nicer, newer and more comfortable truck for what I have in this one.....or there around.cke, singlescrewshaker, D.Tibbitt and 8 others Thank this. -
