Yeah, just weighing my options. It would be a big move for us....Idaho to Indiana. Big lifestyle change. Not really sure what to do. I've had alot thrown at me here lately. Alot of options have opened up in the past few months. I think it would be foolish of me not to take advantage of the market for my truck, if another desirable truck was available.....and they are. I looked at a 2016 4900 star with 300k on the clock for $60k ish. Not bad in this market. Just alot of big choices to make all at once and honestly, I'm having a hard time with it. Alot more back and forth than I would normally have. Just a weird time in the industry and life in general.

Well the good thing about moving to indiana is at the very least you would be set up in prime flatbed market. Probably be pretty easy to get home everyday or atleast a couple times a week running over there and not have to lose a bunch of money doing it like you would out here in the northwest, with the endless amounts of deadhead to try and find good paying freight.cke, PoleCrusher, DeereRunner97 and 6 others Thank this.

It's just sometimes it easier and better to stick with the devil you know. After you posted that list of everything you did to it I think I'd keep this devil.cke, PoleCrusher, DeereRunner97 and 7 others Thank this. -

Exactly. What's the first thing I do when I get home.....find a load out to the Midwest. Then travel around the Midwest for a week. Then find a load home. I'm going to go scalp loads from @jamespmack , since he's just been sitting around on his butt lately..
I'm gonna move to the Midwest and buy a white Volvo to blend in like a local.

I know...it's all good. It's hard to hold on to this when I can get a 16 year old newer 2 million mile less truck for the same price. Makes you think. plus I do really want something lighter to be more competitive when thinks get thin......because that is coming. If I stay here a lighter 4 axle is nice, don't really need that in the Midwest though. I can always put the other axle back on this one if I need to. I run it as a 3 axle now....but it's still heavy. Bobtail I'm just shy of 23k.cke, PoleCrusher, DeereRunner97 and 3 others Thank this.

What's your empty weight?cke, PoleCrusher, DeereRunner97 and 4 others Thank this.

Ive often thought about doing the same. I can only imagine hosuing is much more affordable out in the midwest and a way better freight market to work with. I will just stay in my truck for a couple more years and bank the money until all this #### crashes.cke, PoleCrusher, DeereRunner97 and 4 others Thank this.
