Where is everyone #5

That jackwagon on Ch 6 is starting to irritate me. One of the drivers said he thinks the guy is in Cal somewhere. We use 7 & he bleeds over so bad up here you can't hear anyone, or they are squelched up so high they can't hear you. The good radio in the service truck is the worst. Yelling out the window "SERVICE TRUCK INBOUND AT THE GATE!!!!" doesn't work so well.

That is a big pet peeve of mine. Which is why I hardly ever have my radio on anymore. Between the idiots in their parents basement with big radios that just splatter everywhere and the guys who just jabber on about nothing for miles on end. Half the guys on the radio these days I can't even understand. I just want to be able to talk within a mile or so of my truck....you know....what the radio is actually for. I have a nice radio. When I do turn it on I turn on my noise blanker and turn up the squelch.

 

So that was YOU in the log truck this morning! It was too dirty to tell the color, it could have been Peterbilt Hawaiian Orchid

 

Remember, that is how #5 got it's start...

Edit: when someone asks the color of my truck I say......I dunno, pinkish. Then they just kinda look at me.

 

Is that why it's not #4?

 

I keep the squelch so i just hear what's right around me
