Daddy daycare and rehab at the same time.

 

Its a bit strange, everyone on my mom's side seems to die around the holidays. Grandma passed on Easter and the same year gramps went on Thanksgiving.

My great great aunt who was like a grandmother to us, lived to a 100. Medical condition, couldn't have kids so she spoiled me and my brother. Whenever we would go on vacation she would always manage to fall or something and end up in the hospital, almost like she planned it Lol. Always said she wanted to live long enough to see me graduate high school. Not even 2 months later we were visiting family in jersey and she passed peacefully in her sleep.

Almost like it's a curse Lol

 

So how's my securement here? I call it gut-wrap-kinda-crossy-over-the-top. I wasn't expecting to haul 9' sheets, but real T1-11 1/2 price I had to go for it. Still $658 of lumber, didn't want any sliding out going up the hill. The guy that helped me load said he hoped I was carrying because I was probably going to get robbed on the way home.

 

I see Hammer's truck now and then. Haven't seen it in a while though. If he's still in the same place I'm not too far from him now.

 

He moved south of you a couple hours. I talk to him from time to time

 

Speaking of horses, learned something new yesterday.

A girl walked into the pub sporting an animal tail held in place with a buttplug. I was told that she was a “furry.” Apparently, there are people who get their willies off by having sex in sports team mascots costumes. I reckon they will want their letter added on to the LBGQTIPXYZ also.

 

I learned a lot from some of the guys that are no longer here, not just trucking stuff either. I like people who aren't afraid to call it like they see it. I may disagree, but still respect them.

Iron sharpens iron. Unfortunately a lot of iron got shipped out, cause the play dough got bent out of shape.

I guess there's just not many left that were taught to listen and how to be taught by their elders. I'd better leave it at that.

But I will say thank you to a few that taught me some things, even when they didn't even realize it.

cut and put in cast iron and then add taters, onions, peppers and jalapeños for some heat.

get em good and carmelized and the add eggs.

He's down around Calgary now? I moved a few hours south last year from my old place as well.
