Hard pass. I despise useless things .....and rat rods. $60k for a truck that is so low you dare not drive it, prolly can't tow with it, can't put crap in it because it has no bed=useless. Also have a hard time buying something at that price that is already rusty. Nah.......don't think so.

I'd never. I have bought houses cheaper. But I can appreciate hot rodding and fabrication even if its not something I like. Everyone has different taste. And real hottroders respect everyone even if they don't like something. Hotroders are some of the most accepting people in the world. Facts are someone put alot of time and effort into that.

Depends. I tell you I know we're a 1967 white/black hood scoop with black interior 427,400hp 4 speed, side pipe Vet is stored away. Its started and moved inside every 30 days. 76k miles. Its not mint. Its original driver. All original lacquer paint. Which everone know it cracks. Second owner since 1973.

Do you paint it? My advise is never.

Bad example. I hate Chevy cars. I would just light it on fire. Dang they are God awful ugly!

However, let me address it a different way. For one: to each their own. I don't understand half the crap people do, but it ls their money and crap to do it with.
2: I understand how the rat rod thing started. A bunch of kids with no money scrounging for parts to build a car. Cool.
However, unless you are in that boat, why intentionally make your car look like crap? Why spend a bunch of time and money to make it look like you didn't?
3: to answer your question: yes, if I'm going to restore something.....I'm going to paint it. If a person is just going to slap some parts on and drive it.....different story.

    cke and singlescrewshaker Thank this.
