Thats not a one beer snow fall. I know these excuses!

 

Alright, need some help. Been raining hard for the past day and a half. Had my lights on all day because of it. Then about an hour after dark, my dash went dark and my bright lights went on. Can't turn off my brights. Also lost my tail lights. I'm thinking some water got in somewhere and shorted my lights.......but where?

 

So we start by asking the obvious and dumb question. Did you check your fuse/circuit breaker box?

 

Yeap. All good as far as I can tell. That was my first though, some water through the firewall.....but I don't see any.

 

Did you pull or wiggle all the relays. The dashlights and running lights are on the same relay...second one down middle row I think.

 

FYI...I can usually just kick the fuse box cover going down the road and they will come back on.

 

You can also swap it out with the horn relay if it's bad and you don't carry a spare.
