Give me 3 days with a torch.
One of these days I'll get back at it. Kinda hard when the truck is 8 hours away and you work a Mon-Fri job.

I don’t see much of a reason why you couldn’t put that truck to work.
I would personally want the two non-functioning gauges working though due to OCD.cke, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 9 others Thank this. -
Sounds like the value is there, mechanical truck is worth going through.
It's the same year as my 7100 I'm going through right now. So far, changed out all the fluids, engine, trans, diff, steering res, rad flush, all filters, belts, hoses. Replaced leaking de-aeration tank, greased entire chassis and driveline and checked for play. Checked water pump, steering box, and clutch play, replaced both starter & alternator, along with all the battery cables and both batteries, rusted rear can, all front & rear air lines. Wire brushed the frame and painted black. Replacing both rear mud flaps & brackets now. Have an ever so slight coolant drip coming from the oil cooler connector pipe O-rings, that's up next for repair. Also have a very slight air leak, not quite sure where, yet. A work in progress over the winter, put to work in the Spring.
That truck you got there, has it got value? IMO, sure does...cke, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 9 others Thank this. -
Well you guys are a vast cross section of the trucking community. I'm not keeping it. I bought it before it got torched. It was about to. I only plan to resell it. Figure it would make a good farm or local truck. I mean could be over the road, its not what I'd want. But could be done.
Hard to put a asking price on it. It needs work. I dont wanna miss represent anything. Just thought I'd ask you folks opinion on value. But its not far from a daily work truck. It would be just fine hooked to my hopper. But I can't justify 2 trucks and 1 driver.cke, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 12 others Thank this. -
My Cutlass has been sitting 20 or 21 years. I understand.cke, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 9 others Thank this. -
I didn't know it either until I searched for the joint. That was in the top 5 results.....so I had to click on it. I've never even been to a strip joint in my life. Never felt the need.cke, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 6 others Thank this.

I think it would be a great localish or farm truck! If you just get it up to par and toss it on Facebook market place.......I imagine you will do well with it very quickly. After getting an earful from a guy at kw on why to stay away from New KWs.......thinking about just going back to a 359......lol.cke, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 6 others Thank this.

Maybe it's just me, but I like old iron, maybe because I'm old too, I don't know. I like nothing better than to rebuild it from the frame up, sure it takes time & money, but ah, when you're done, you got something worthwhile. To me, much more worthwhile than the plastic electronic junk being produced now...
