Had a bowl of leftover beans & cornbread this evening. Couldn’t help but throw some butter and sorghum on another piece of cornbread….

Yeah, hindsight 20/20, I would have went the glider route when I had the chance. I just need to find something I like and buy it. I called on a mack today, but it already had a deposit on it
    So......I tried.

I clean my Kenworth, my Harley, my farm tractors, and other things with Simple Green with no problems, and have for over 20 years.

Mix 50/50 with water for body parts on the Kenworth, and all over on the Harley. 100% strength on the engine and suspension on the Kenworth…..

Is yours getting to the point that's it's not worth saving, teetering on the edge? Getting pretty rusted/rot?

No. Here's how I see it. Right now I can get a decent price for it. I can keep putting money into to it until I absolutely will need to put rails under it, in frame it, maybe cluth, and trans etc. So in 8 years or so....it may or may not be worth what it is now....plus I will have to dump another $60k in it at that time. Or I can cash out now and get something else that is new enough that I can keep up on the maintenance. Or, just get me through until all this crap blows over.....or the world goes to pot and I can just get new ones every 4 years.
I really need something lighter. Something better on fuel would be nice too.

Gotcha. Tough decisions. Whatever you do I hope you have better luck than you've recently had

@shooter19802003 what model did you look at? The Anthem?

Not many issues with the Mack/Volvo engines. Quite a few guys on here have made it to a million with only minor issues. I know they had injector cup issues, no idea on the years.
