Ok, it’s been a long time since I spoke with anyone leasing to a broker about the $$ involved, or money not involved in a sense.

I took my boom truck over across the way on route 2 and unstacked a couple gooseneck trailers.

Guy bought 2 new 3/4 ton diesel pickups & 2 new trailers.

He was telling me the broker is going to keep 30% of each load, that’s sounds like a hell of a lot per truck / load he is going to forfeit. Is that realistic today, or is he getting taken to the cleaners?

I do not personally know this young man at all, just curious what he is getting into $$ wise.

Broker will be supplying the insurance / tags to my understanding….

I haven't been there in a while. I brought the last crane from the twin tower demo site. I sat there for a long time waiting to load. Actually drove down Broadway the wrong way because I couldn't make any of the turns. So they shut it down for me. Then you have to sit at the bridge and goto the phone in the dark at like 0200. Super shady. I actually took out the toll booth at the end in jersey. Funny stuff. The guy just kept waving me through.....lol. took it for a ride.
