No spotter. I've got the rack/bench dialed in to where the bar just touches my chest when it hits the safeties. Its low enough that I can stand up and do a partial deadlift to re-rack after each set.
I'm for sure going to do the set of unracking next bench day. Been trying to get my shoulder strength up as I think that's what is holding me back right now.

I dont know the hot shot business at all. Have heard some stupid insurance rates. But that doesn't seem to out of line for new equipment and new entry with progressive.shooter19802003, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 8 others Thank this.

Yes I agree, no experience is the big factor.
I’m 56 now, been driving commercial vehicles since 1987, but was driving medium duty trucks since 1984.
3.5 million miles with 0 accidents, and my setup with both trailers cost me around $7000 annually with progressive…..shooter19802003, cke, singlescrewshaker and 9 others Thank this. -
Keep in mind, your deductible will have a big bearing on your insurance too. Think mine is a $2500 deductible…..shooter19802003, cke, singlescrewshaker and 7 others Thank this. -
I went my first year with my authority with progressive at 8k. Hopper was brand new. 2 trailers one truck. There "commercial specialists" to me are a joke. 12 months and I switched. Same equipment running out further now at 5100 a year. Better coverage. And agents that know trucking. Free COI and the lady at that office will normally complete in minutes and email to broker.
1 mill accident
1 mill liability
150k cargo
2 mill general liability
30k on tractor
30k on hopper
10k on flat.
I have dropped it because I haven't used it. But trailer interchange was only 250 bucks for 35k value.
Don't screw up like me. Only pay for insurance on one trailer. Then carry interchange. Let your wife or personal name own trailer and lease it to business. But once you put a second trailer on policy, there is no going back.
And thats with my little speed infraction 13 months ago.shooter19802003, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 7 others Thank this. -
Hmmm so that's where the air leak is coming from in low range. Unfortunately I need a new fitting, just cutting the end off didn't fix it.

I was quoted 12k for unlimited miles from great west. 50k truck and 25k on trailer, but also carrying interchange. That's on a new venture with a fresh DOT. Standard coverages, I'll have to check what the deductible was as I can't remember off the top of my head.

Beastly. How much do you weigh? Your a full plate ahead of me. I went to the gym last week with my bud who lost his left arm from the elbow and left leg from the knee down. Watched him throw up 315 for 3 reps. His nickname is the terminator Loljamespmack, shooter19802003, cke and 6 others Thank this.
