I remember when Sears was still a place that sold stuff you needed, a salesgirl was giving me a pitch about Craftsman's lifetime warranty. I jokingly asked if they guaranteed them even if they were lost. I could see her little wheels slowing down and grinding to halt. I tried to tell her I was joking, but her brain was stuck on the bring it in and exchange deal and she just had to call her manager to find out lol.

Man. US-54 Westbound out of Liberal, KS and in my best Ron White voice, "the wind is a blowin'." Right now the sustained winds are 39-45mph with gust to 65mph. I'm heavy at 90,000lbs. so I'm not too terribly worried but I just had a holy S moment when I watched an oncoming dry van skating on 9 wheels. A large gust blew across the road and it lifted this dry van like it was a piece of paper. Yikes. Driver was hauling the mail too. I think he is probably in the process of changing undies right now.
Anyway, spent some time looking for another truck and found the one I wanted at a reasonable price and picked it up from a private seller. I was not used truck shopping with dealers for sure. I still have my 2005 International 9900iX Eagle and came across a 2014 International 9900iX Eagle that was built in Canada with only 479,000 miles on the odometer and the price was right. The truck is in immaculate shape. It is now my daily hauler...Last edited: Dec 10, 2021

Now most people would wash their pickup after this, but it has had its bath for the year. No way they are like new. But has to be a improvement.
