Almost as bad as IH wanting $607 for a stamped steel deaeration tank, fabricated my own for under $100 and much better quality. $260 for a stinking switch? What, has it gold contacts inside? No way I'd pay that either. These parts prices are going the way of lumber, insane...

Yep. He got one after I did.

Just plain wrong for them to sell it to him the way they did.

Call Vander haag's....you can buy a good complete front axle alot cheeper than the parts will cost you. In the middle of the axle there will be a casting number stamped in it. I think it's on the back side but don't hold me to it. They'll need that number to match it up.

Normally if the bearing surface is worn you can ping the shaft and be just fine.... depends on what kind a shape it's in.

And if you buy a new hub and you have the large covers get a new cover because new hub uses the small covers.

It had a pretty fair wear shelf on it.

If I go the new knuckle route I will get a new loaded hub. I'm not putting an old hub and bearings on a new spindle. I'm already balls deep, might aswell go all the way.
