As angry as I am about the whole thing I feel the same way. Karma will deliver one day. She always has her moment.

 

@cke yall survive the tornadoes and weather that came through up there last night? I was in Wis Dels and that wind made for a long day.

 

I'm in the same boat. I used to be pretty careless with them. These days I always take my hat, wallet and phone.

 

Worse, Arizona for the week.
Colorado next week. Oh joy.

 

I've been there myself. One moment of carelessness on my part, another time when the truck was in my driveway. That one I never could figure. They broke in the truck to steal my radio, worth maybe $25, when there's a garage full of tools worth way more right behind it.

 

We'll be running through Arizona sometime this weekend. Loading in TN tomorrow then 40 wb to Commiefornia.

 

It sucks period. I went inside to shower and I use my phone to pay for everything and to swipe my loyalty cards. It's one of only a handful of times I did not have my wallet on me because like @OLDSKOOLERnWV said I feel naked without it.

So far the bank has returned about half of what was taken and the rest will come as they complete the fraud investigation.

I'm in Houston now. I hate Texas. Actually, pretty much hate the entire South West. It was 71 when I woke up this morning! With a million percent humidity. Sweating my butt off! I think Texas has a contest to see how much junk a person can fit in their front lawn. I believe new Mexico also participates in this contest. Don't know who's winning, but they are all making a heckuva effort!

 

Take a drive up 54 north out of El Paso, you can furnish your whole house from the side of the road.
