Hmmm,,, I see a pattern of sorts..
Seems Ford's model T of that era was about $360, or 5x cheaper than electric..
Don't know the range of the Ford, but I'll speculate it was more than 70 miles at 21mph..![]()

I watched a documentary on electric vehicles awhile ago. Pretty interesting. They have been around since the early 1800s. That's crazy. According to this:
https://www.drivingelectric.com/you...t-was-first-electric-car-history-electric-car
1/3 of all vehicles were electric in 1900.
my thing is; if someone wants one, then great, they can buy one of their own free will. I don't want the govt forcing me into one, or anything else for that matter. I'm pretty suspect any time the govt tries to force something upon me.Flint1, jamespmack, cke and 12 others Thank this. -

Steam is still around. I had one. When I had a bigger place I was building a line driven shop. I love that stuff. I would scrounge old equipment from anywhere I could. Problem is, it was all in placed indidnt want to go (east coast) because that's where it was all used. But there are still steam shows all over. I've seen steam boats, small stationary engines, large stationary engines, obviously tractors, cars and small railcars. The biggest stationary steam engine is huge and still runs. I believe it's in Kensington. I'll find a link....pretty cool.
Edit: Kempton museum, I was close....lol

You gotta be some stupid to jump out of a car like that. Zero injury and no need for a hospital visit had she just kept her ### parked in the seat.
