Haha my grandpa did the same except it was blackberry brandy. Him and my dad would would be down in the garage drinking before Sunday dinner.

Mine always had an excuse of why he had to goto the garage for something. He swore me to secrecy.......like my grandma didn't know.....lol.....ok.

 

Oregon Snowmageddon 2021

 

Lol, you remember BEER...beer? all white can with big black letters that just said BEER. When I lived in Memphis there was a corner store next door to our complex. White guy and a oriental gal. They would sell my buddy and I a hot ham and cheese sammich and a King Kobra 40oz for $2! I was 18 and he was 17 at the time. Guy never asked questions and I'm sure he didn't care. Good times in the projects.

 

Pshhh, who's whining. If we were all alike, the world would be a boring place and I wouldn't have anyone to poke fun at.

 

Coming back from visiting my brother in Colorado my connecting flight out of Chicago to Scranton was one of those little planes that hold about 50 people. Probably about a minute or so after taking off in a steep climb, all the sudden he backed out of the throttle and it felt like we were dropping out of the sky for a few seconds. It went dead quiet Lol. Even the flight attendant looked nervous. If they look nervous that's not good.

Those small planes look fun as hell to fly. Your doing more stick control's compared to the bigger planes I'd say.

 

I do remember BEER...beer.

In fact, one of the breweries here in Oregon has an offering that is a nod to it. White can and it's called "PUB BEER".

Speaking of 40's...

Was at the grocery store a few days ago and I get in line behind this woman that was probably in her 70's. She had four items..

A quart of milk.

A pack of Marlboro Reds.

Two 40's of Olde English.
