    There's a saying here..
"The further south you drive, the more north you go.." as most transplants tend to live south of i4..

Probably wouldn't guess if you heard my "twang" lol  but I'm from Warwick, RI.. I have no recollection of it though. Been living in roughly the same 5 square mi patch here since june '84 when I was 6 months old..

It's changed from the 80's, 90's. Not for the better..
Reckon most areas that have a flood of new residents say the same.?

It's so flat there! Like Kansas or something.
Log dogs were on the radio yesterday, they predict more cold and a lot more snow coming Jan. If you can't trust the guys on the landing predicting the weather, who can you trust?

It has been colder than normal here. But the same winds. We had 84mph winds last week knock down alot of my dead branches, but that was about it. After living in the mountains for so many years, I really enjoy the prairie more. I dunno what it is, but I really like the prairie. Only thing is the constant wind. It just kills my driveway. With the 5 strand on either side. It just dumps in my drive.

9.5 is too high for sure. Soda's like anti-freeze, tastes sweet but poisons you, 3+ days worth of sugar in one 16 oz bottle alone, limit your sugar grams to 12 a day, if possible. Exercise more, that'll burn it up quicker.

<5.7 is normal, 5.7-6.5 is pre, two separate tests >6.5 is confirmed. Sugar in the urine test is grounds to fail. I've been fightin this monster myself for awhile now. My A1C, last test was 6.2, year before it was 5.9, but I tend to cheat somewhat, LOL. The A1C goes back 90 days for an average BSL, so cuttin out the sugar a week before aint gonna cut it. Like others have said, you can reverse this, now's the time before you do damage. Yeah, it sucks but you gotta do it...

Man that sucks, 8 degrees with the wind blowing, ouch. You need something built to at least get out of the elements. If we lived closer, I'd come and help you through something up!

Ever notice that in the winter the wind blows non-stop, but in the summer 95 degrees out in the shade and nar a breeze, go figure...

That would be over 1/2 mile of shrubs....per side......I don't have that in me. Plus I would have to run water line.
