Haha 180hp from the big V8s. Utterly pathetic in the name of emissions.

Excluding the Poncho SD455 T/A. That was everything from 1973 and up.

Every decade has had alot of crappy cars. 1970's are no exception.

Not officially down, but building a engine starting with a new block. You would think that Cummins would supply new parts to at least meet their own reuse guidelines. Today's crank is U shaped with a #4 main .010" runout. I'm not buying "surplus" rejects from eBay, this is crap straight from Memphis.

Snagged a really good paying load from the big town of Mabank, TX to make a quick run to Houston. The load only weight about 15,000lbs and the delivery took 10 minutes. It took me longer to put my short chains and 4 straps in the tool box.

Figured while I was here I would call the glass company I have used for several years and have them replace the windshield in my truck. The left mirror got clipped by a FedEx truck pulling doubles. The rear trailer of his wagon gave my left mirror the whiplash treatment and sent the mirror into the windshield. 16413097401751055780766054314010.jpg

I highly recommend this company for glass work. They are too notch in my previous experience with them.

Sad but true. I think its more workers not caring than anything else. Seems to be a lot of folks that have very little pride in their work these days.
