Grocery store prices aren't going down any time soon, and I think '22 is going to really start to bring some eye opening inflationary pain. Never would I ever have imagined my lambs bringing $420cwt, but here we are. At the start of the sale I jokingly said to the Amish man beside me that it would be nice to get New Holland rates tonight (never have I ever, even when taking a load to New Holland lol), and then it happened. My last cull ewe even went higher than my September lambs. At least it takes a little sting out of rising hay.
