Aecon is the main contractor that built the new bridge in Peace River. They have some kind of partnership with SNC Lavelin, not sure if it's just for this job or there's some other connection.

Every state with crappy roads has some bs excuse. My favorite is MI. They claim its because of poor substrate and freeze/thaw going from winter to spring. But the most glaring demonstration that it's a bs excuse, is the MI/OH line on I75. If you're traveling southbound, a hard hat is almost required to keep from getting a concussion. Then you cross a line, and the road, magically becomes smooth.

Somehow, the ground knows where the MI/OH line is, and suddenly provides a stable substrate to build a road on. There is no freezing and thawing south of the line either, even the weather respects the line. At least that's what MI would have us believe.

To be fair, he likes the El Camino, and mullets.

Well, I can tell today is going to suck aswell. I should have taken January off instead! Woke up to about 5" of fresh snow on the deck. Got out and Broomed it off. Coming down pretty good. Small flakes, but steady and pretty wet. I'm sure hwy 12 and lolo are gonna be a #### show. However, none of the loaders are at work yet. Usually start at 0700.....but not today. So, at this pace, maybe they will un#### 12 before I get there........maybe?
