The higher rpm is part of the reason i think Schlumberger had very few emission issues. They were the early emission engines too, 2011-2014 mostly. 425/1650 ISX 12 and we had a #### ton of idle hours, they pretty much never got shut off. Good maintenance schedule, higher rpm's and the engines weren't too big for the application. They got worked hard. I think if they had 15L and lower rpm's they would of had lots of emissions issues

They weren't cut back, no progressive shift just a straight 425 and they ran 1900 on the highway. High 4.xx or low 5.xx rears for pulling 100k on the frac side. Spec'd right for the application

Edit: for legal weights otr use you really don't need a 15L for most applications. A 12-13L is plenty and will get worked harder

I've saw a lot of stuff that I can't explain. 17-18 years old me and my brother with 4-5 friends saw 3 what I would call orbs floating in the sky and slowly moving for about 30 seconds. Then they were just gone. Gone. Didn't fly off, it was just like they disappeared instantly.

Coming home from my mom's birthday dinner this past September both of them saw a bright light in the sky over Binghamton, for a second they thought it was a plane but then all the sudden it took off and was gone in a flash. It happened so quickly I didn't see it but they both did.

When you have 2 or more people see the same thing it becomes way more credible.

And then this strange encounter happened when I was 13 and in 7th grade I'll never forget this til the day I die. Was at the local bike/ATV shop getting a new helmet. I was in the back of the store and my mom was way up front waiting in line to pay. This old guy with white long hair comes over to me and asks if my name is Brett and asks if I'm left handed, which I am. Then he proceeded to tell me I'm going to have one hell of a life was his exact words. So far he hasn't been wrong.

That one still has me scratching my head.......

Asking for a few prayers today. I'm getting ready to head to the funeral home shortly and pay my last respects to the man who taught me to be a man. That you get up & go to work & you don't stop until the job is done. Taught me to look another man in the eye when you shake his hand. He always told me that when you tell someone that you will do something that is what you do. We didn't always see eye to eye but I respected him and what he stood for. I have had many people tell me how envious they were that I got to work beside my dad for so long and my son with me now. We will carry on not only because we have to,but also because that's what he would have wanted. I'm sorry for rambling on. Thank you to my dad for being the kind of person that you were.

What so many dont understand is when they hot rod a electronic engine most remove some parameters. At that point is equivalent of driving a full mechanical engine. Then wonder why the keep melting them down.
