There was no one on planet earth that could piss me off like Mom. I figured out what I was doing wrong (arguing. there’s absolutely no reason to argue), made a couple changes, and suddenly, Mom and I got along great.

It hurts to see a parent age. And when Mom passed, it took me a couple months to even figure out who I was now.

That you get up & go to work & you don't stop until the job is done. Taught me to look another man in the eye when you shake his hand. He always told me that when you tell someone that you will do something that is what you do. We didn't always see eye to eye but I respected him and what he stood for. I have had many people tell me how envious they were that I got to work beside my dad for so long and my son with me now. 5am this morning, was pulling out of the Love’s south of Macon GA. Trucks were parked on either side of the road. I nosed out slowly looking for cars. Looked both ways, pulling out turning left. There was a flatbed parked across the street from the truck stop entrance, so I could see over the trailer.

Turning left, my headlights beamed over the flatbed and illuminated the grass and the trees on the other side. It looked like someone was standing at the tree line. The thing is he stood upright and had the big long arms that hung past his knees. Here’s the crazy part: he had WHITE FUR all over. It was the fur that caught my attention. Okay, might be one of those furry fiends, right? Well, okay but the guy looked to be 9-10ft tall! And then my view was blocked by the cab of the flatbed.

Shesh everyone knows bigfeet are brown and yetis are white.

Yetis are only in the Himalayas. Sasquatch is out west in the Rockies. This was South Georgia. Hence, “Bigfoot.”
