Welp, I had a banger of an afternoon that I can't remedy until tomorrow.

Was working on digging up a rather large stump. What did I discover that runs directly under said stump?

Waterline that runs from the well to the house. Of course since it was 4pm on a Sunday the places that would be more likely than home depot to have what I wanted to repair the stupid thing were closed. Ran to home depot any way and sure enough, they didn't have the slip coupler I wanted. Bought some other stuff to try to do a quick repair so we could at least have water tonight. No dice.

Another fun bit.. Didn't notice that when I cut the broken piece of pipe out, I also cut the electrical wire for the pump control box. Any guesses on how I discovered that?

Yeah, got zapped when I was clearing some dirt away from the pipe with my hand.

    Good times.

We don't have Amazon delivery where I live. Don't even think it's an option. Stuff comes ups, FedEx or snail mail. Like everything else now it just boils down to people. They all want a raise and think they are worth a mint, but want to put forth a minimal effort.

A sheep is something I haven't got yet. Around us they are in packs. So you see them. Plus they are only in a few areas, so you pretty much know where they are gonna be. There are a few places in Montana like that where they are often right on the road
I'm sure @D.Tibbitt knows where I'm talking about.

And that is what makes you different than over half of the US population right now. Because they wake up everyday looking for an excuse not to goto work.....if they even have a job.

There should be plugs from the steering column to the wiring harness under the dash pull each one and spray with electric contact cleaner and replace. It may be as simple as a poor connection. Also clean and tighten your cab grounds and the ground and plug of the wiper motor. Check the relays for bad connections.

Sooooooo, I'm guessing you didn't call 811 before you dig? :dontknow:
Nice. Way to break in the new house. ;)
I'm not gonna lie, I'm laughing pretty good now. We all screw up, it happens, don't be hard on yourself. You'll get it fixed tomorrow. Atleast it is a cheap and quick fix when you get the parts in hand. You still liking your new toy? You are getting alot done it seems since you got it.
